July 2021Memo emailed and/or mailed to all SSEB Members inviting resolutions for consideration during the Board’s Annual Meeting.
July 14, 2021Email reminder to Board Members of deadline to submit resolutions.
July 14, 2021Appointment of Resolutions Committee by SSEB’s Chairman.
Sat., Aug. 14, 2021Deadline for Board Members to submit resolutions. SSEB staff will format all resolutions and incorporate minor administrative changes for consistency only.
Fri., Aug. 20, 2021Distribution of proposed policy resolutions to Board Members by electronic mail.
Fri., Sept. 3, 2021Deadline for Board Members to submit amendments to the proposed policy resolutions.
All proposed amendments must be submitted through a Board Member.
Mon., Sept. 20, 2021Proposed policy resolutions with all amendments, as approved by the Resolutions Committee, will be emailed to all SSEB members.  
Tues., Sept. 28, 2021Southern States Energy Board Annual Business Session during which the Board Members will present, discuss, and vote on policy resolutions.

Prior Resolutions

One of SSEB’s program objectives is to act as a liaison between states, the federal government and industry in projects and programs affecting state and federal laws, standards and requirements, licenses and approvals. Through these resolutions and policy positions, SSEB is providing our member states a collective voice at the national level on energy and environmental issues.

On September 29, 2020, the Southern States Energy Board adopted nine resolutions during our virtual 60th Annual Board Business Meeting. They are available for individual download or as a booklet below.
