The Southern States Energy Board elected Governor Robert Bentley of Alabama to serve as the 2013-2014 Chairman, following outgoing Chairman Governor Phil Bryant of Mississippi. The announcement was made at the 53rd Annual Meeting in Biloxi, MS on October 13 – 15, 2013. Welcome our new Chairman, Governor Bentley!

SSEB just announced that U.S. Former Senator Trent Lott will be the Closing Keynote Speaker for the 2013 Annual Meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi. Senator Lott is Co-Chairman, Bipartisan Policy Center’s Energy Project. The meeting will be held at the Beau Rivage on October 13-15, 2013. The governors discussed the importance of understanding the potential energy resources and opportunities available and adjacent to the coastal states.
