This year’s Annual Meeting will convene governors, legislative leaders, regulators, industry executives, researchers, and federal partners for a timely discussion on the South’s role in powering America’s energy future. The meeting comes as Mississippi advances “Mississippi’s Power Play,” the Governor’s initiative to expand energy capacity, accelerate private investment, and position the state as a national model for reliable, affordable, and abundant energy development—an ideal setting for this year’s theme, The Southern Power Plan: Strategic Resources.
