The electric utility industry is changing rapidly in an unprecedented manner. Restructuring involves deregulation, competition, decrease in demand-side management programs and other issues. In March 1994, SSEB convened the Task Force on a Restructured Electric Utility Industry to monitor these electric utility issues. The task force is focusing its efforts on developing informational tools for use by state officials, legislators, and professionals in the utility industry.
